x64 Bit Vista – .mkv files and mediacenter

Well. This combination seems to be totaly imposible! :) – Or is it?

After alot of time of messing with matroska codecs from diffrent backages i finally found out why it didnt work!

The answer was simple – 64 bit vista… 64 bit codecs!

So go grap the 64 bit version of whatever codec pack you use – Personaly i use k-lite codec pack. Go grap it HERE.

Now go have fun and watch those movies :)

To get auto loading info for your movies consider installing mymovies from http://www.mymovies.dk/. This program also includes DVD covers and the like. Comes highly recommended from here.

Brian really did some good work on this program, so if you like it he would appriciate a little donation.

Whats next? Well, go rip all your movies to your harddrive. :)
