To get the magic working simply:
1. Press "win + r" and you will get the run box.
2. Write regedit and press enter.
3. Go to the key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Media Center\Settings\DvdSettings
4. Find the "ShowGallery" setting and change the value to "Gallery".
5. Open mediacenter and you will now have a new option under TV + Movies called dvd libary
Now you can rip dvd movies to .vob files and let mediacenter search for the files. It will list all the movies as above.
To get auto loading info for your movies consider installing mymovies from http://www.mymovies.dk/. This program also includes DVD covers and the like. Comes highly recommended from here.
Brian really did some good work on this program, so if you like it he would appriciate a little donation.
Whats next? Well, go rip all your movies to your harddrive.
